The loss of our home in the Palisades fire is still deeply painful, and speaking about it is difficult. Even so, we hope sharing our experience will inspire others to help rebuild our community.
We were referred to BSPK along with a few other architects, but we were immediately drawn to their holistic approach—homes that reflect the owner’s vision and stand the test of time rather than trends.

While hope and excitement feel far away right now, certain moments have offered glimmers of possibility. During our first design meeting, when BSPK asked about our wishlist for the rebuild, we realized there was a path forward. Seeing those ideas begin to take shape reminded us that, even amidst this loss, it will once again be our home.
Throughout the process, BSPK has been a steady, guiding presence. Roman personally visiting our property and taking the time to understand its unique beauty meant a great deal. Their responsiveness, expertise, and thoughtful attention to every detail have kept the project moving forward—even when we felt overwhelmed.
